yes, was and thought about it. Just woke up to see Life without GC is still the same and I am a day old. Now, I feel relaxed. Now, there is no need to check or wait for bulletin for the next one year or to atleast have any hope.

YOu should go ahead and file your response to RFE. I had the same issue with my case when my attorney did not inform me of a RFE. After missing the deadline, I filed my repone through a different attorney explaining the problemand USCIS accepte my response.

Is this where you E-File AP Renewal?

Is the renewal form I-131? Isn't it same as applying for FRESH AP??
No where on the form we indicate that this is a RENEWAL??
Who ever has e-filed AP renewal please help...

My I 140 was filed recently online. I noticed that we missed out Part 4.2 where it ask for Permanent address abroad. Does anyone know if this will be an issue?

1500 H-1Bs were claimed in the last week and just over 20,000 remain for the fiscal year. Based on a four week rolling average (1175), I am projecting the target will be exhausted in 17 weeks which will be February 23, 2011. Previously, I had been projecting March, but the overall usage of H-1Bs has been somewhat busier in the last month than in previous months. The masters cap usage this past week was 500 and the monthly average is 450. There are 3,800 H-1Bs left of 20,000 and I am projecting that cap will be exhausted in late December,...

I've just received an RFE for my I-485. I am feeling incredibly disheartened because I thought I'd done everything right and I am struggling not being able to work or travel... I have a seriously ill family member back home, and my husband and I have an understanding that if anything happens I'm getting on the plane no matter what. I'm just praying I get my AP soon so the "no matter what" doesn't have to mean abandoning our home and life here in the US.

I got H1 in 2008.
I want to that till how much time is the petition valid , if I dont go for stamping.
Also , suppose my company withdraws the petition, so now till how much duration my cap number is valid?
Expiration date will be mentioned on I-797 approval notice
you will be counted only once against cap. and you can be on H1/L1 for total of 6 years (without a break) - ofcourse assumption is that you never file for a GC

I am working for a MNC and I got L1 visa stamped. After marriage I got my H4 visa stamped.(After L1 stamping) But the Visa officials have not marked the L1 visa cancelled in the passport, does it mean that the Visa is still valid? Does that mean that i can still travel on my L1 visa?
If your L1 petition is still valid (not withdrawn by employer) and you intend to work for that employer (ie. fullfill all other L1 requirements) then yes, you can still travel on L1 and maintain L1 status in the US.

this weird idea from Point 10 of I-765 form where it says A# or I-94#
Of course in other places it just asks A# ( specially in I-131 form)
2) For I-131 there are lot of doubts - want to double check
a) Class of Admission - ?
b) A# is the very first Information sought !!
c) Date of Intended Departure and Expected length of Trip
d) For how many Trips you intend to use
3) In G-325A Bigraphic form also at the end - it again asks for
ALIEN REGISTRATION NUMBER - what is the that ??

My wife is currently working on H1B. She recently got her EAD through my GC application (I am the primary applicant). Can she use her EAD to work for her current company who is holding H1B?
